Delaware's state economic development office is doing a great job assisting small businesses across the state, and has paid special attention to those business that are in traditional downtown business areas. The are sponsoring two workshops focusing on the "click & mortar" business model and asked LadyBug Shop owner Dan Bond to run the workshops. As readers of this blog know, Dan is a ardent proponent of using eCommerce as an economic development strategy for historic downtowns. Those of you in the Delmarva region who would like to attend one of these workshops are welcome. They are free but pre-registration is required. The first workshop will be in Milford this Saturday, February 7 from 10AM to noon. Call Downtown Milford Inc. at 302-839-1180 to register.
