Happy Earth Day!

Earth Day is a wonderful reminder to us all about how important it is to take care of Mother Earth. Here at LadyBug Shop we recycle all unused cardboard boxes, water bottles, unused paper and more. And to reuse we use cardboard boxes to mail our ladybug filled packages! We also use energy efficient light bulbs, a great way to save energy and money.

In case you didn't know ladybugs are a wonderful way to promote organic farming. Ladybugs are used in place of harmful pesticides. Some of the places I have found that use ladybugs for organic farming include the Mariquita Farm, Black River Organic Farm, Ladybug Organic Coffee Company and more! To find farmers near you that offer organic farming check out PioneerOrganics.com. Check out this wonderful article about a group of students in Oregon that are planning to release 250,000 ladybugs in honor of Earth Day! Don't forget to contribute something this Earth Day.
